Overview of Scheduling Procedures

If you need to order exams, please be sure the following few conditions are met:

REQUISITION FORM

Please fill out the requisition form and make sure all necessary code(s) are included according to medical regulations.

INCLUDE PATIENT DETAILS

Provide a descriptive narrative that details any patient history, symptoms, and signs that are pertinent to the ordered study.

REVIEW FOR ACCURACY

The exam requisition language and the records of the referring physician must match and review to confirm accuracy.

Please Be Thorough With Documentation

To provide you with the fastest, most accurate service, we need all pertinent information regarding your patient’s clinical history and accurate coding in advance of any procedure. Providing complete documentation that supports the need for imaging studies will prevent issues with insurance companies and help you provide a higher level of patient satisfaction.

Ordering physicians should also provide any details of patient signs and symptoms that will be critical to the case and/or the type and technique of imaging. The more information you can provide, the more accurately we can determine the best way to perform, protocol, and interpret studies. This, in turn, translates to a higher level of patient care.

At ARA, we’re dedicated to excellence, not only where patient care is concerned, but also when working with our referring physician partners. To help provide the most accurate diagnoses, we always comply with the regional and national guidelines established for our industry.

Once you experience the level of knowledge, management, and service we can provide, we believe ARA will be the recommended radiology center for all your patients’ needs.
